HHS PROVIDER RELIEF REPORTING FOR PERIOD 2 NOW OPEN

If your practice received more than $10,000 from the Department of Health and Human Services via the Provider Relief Funds program you are required to report how those funds were used. Reporting for those who received HHS funds between July 1st 2020 and December 31st 2020 is now open on the portal. Reports are due by March 31st, 2022.

A few things to note about the reporting:

  • The reporting is very detailed and will take some time to complete.

  • It requires specific information about collections by quarter from 2019-2021. This information will need to come from your Practice Management system.

  • You will need information about employees by quarter from 2019-2021 (Clinical vs. non Clinical/ Part time vs. Full time vs. Contractors)

  • You will need patient counts by quarter from 2019-2021.

  • If the amount you received in HHS PRF reporting is less than the variance between your total collections from 2019 vs. 2020 or 2019 vs. 2021, then we'd advise to report all funds used against lost revenues. (For example in 2019: if collections totaled $800,000 you received $50,000 in PRF funds, and 2020 collections were $740,000. You'd be able to report that all of the $50,000 received was used to replace the lost revenues of $60,000 ($800,000-$740,0000).

  • You are able to save information as you go, so the report does not have to be completed at one time.

  • We created a template where you can input all the information until you are ready to input the report online OR, you could input as you go in the reporting portal and save as you go. To download an Excel copy of the template, click the link, go to File/Download/Excel.

  • We are happy to help with any questions as you navigate through the reporting.
